Fall Protection is a stainless steel grate that, when installed on any Smith & Loveless Wet Well Mounted Pump Station, provides an additional layer of operator safety by protecting against accidental falls into wet wells without any limitation of pump station access or performance.
The steel grate is strong enough to hold the weight of nearly any operator while they view the floats and wet well. Maximum load is 400 lbs. The unit is designed as a Fall Protection Device only and is not intended as a work platform.
