Leadership Role Reinforces Company’s Ongoing Commitment to Pumping System Industry Standards and Technical Excellence
LENEXA (Kan.) – Smith & Loveless Inc. announces that President Frank J. Rebori has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Hydraulic Institute (HI), the largest association of pump manufacturers and suppliers in North America and a global authority on pumps and pumping systems.
Rebori was formally installed during the organization’s 2026 Annual Conference in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, where new officers and board members were appointed to guide the Institute’s leadership through 2029. He joins the HI Board as one of three newly appointed directors beginning three-year terms, helping shape the organization’s strategic direction as it continues advancing pump technology, standards development and industry education. He previously served a term on the board from 2014 to 2017.
Rebori’s appointment reflects his long-standing involvement in the water and wastewater industry and his commitment to advancing pump standards, performance guidelines and technical collaboration. As a member of the Board of Directors, he will contribute to technical initiatives that strengthen best practices across the pump industry while supporting the development of technical resources and advocacy efforts for manufacturers, engineers and end users.
Under Rebori’s leadership, Smith & Loveless has continued to expand its engineered systems portfolio for municipal and industrial water and wastewater markets around the world, while maintaining a strong focus on manufacturing quality and technical advancement.
