See WEFTEC’s most thorough advanced grit removal system and headworks display
The S&L Headworks Zone at WEFTEC will spotlight innovative screening and advanced grit removal system solutions, including: the PISTA® INVORSOR® with industry-leading 95% grit removal efficiency for particles as small as 75 microns and demonstrated by our 8’ x 5’ step-up model of this cutting-edge grit chamber technology. Also prominent in the mix is the PISTA VIO™ – Smith & Loveless’ complimentary advanced grit removal system solution with industry-best removal efficiency for particles down to 100 microns. We’ll display multiple options as shown in numerous recent projects, including complete stainless-steel models, small, medium, and large flow examples (up to 100 MGD in single units), and various channel layouts that accommodate smaller footprints and facility space concerns.
Smith & Loveless is also introducing a completely new grit chamber synchronous belt drive, replacing traditional oil-based gear drives.
