Designed to deliver industry-best grit removal efficiencies, this engineered retrofit upgrades existing and new PISTA® 360™ grit chambers to an impressive 95% removal efficiency for 105-micron particles at flow capacities up to 100 MGD (Million Gallons per Day).
The PISTA® 360™ with V-FORCE Baffle™ comprises an exclusive internal velocity baffling system that significantly improves grit capture and reduces buildup. This advanced technology ensures optimal performance during low-flow periods through to peak-flow periods—all while maintaining consistent 95% grit removal efficiency. By implementing this upgrade, wastewater utilities can augment the grit-capturing technology of their grit chamber and extend the system’s operational efficiency, which is especially helpful at plants where average daily flows have changed over time.
This baffle retrofit by S&L® easily inserts into existing PISTA® 360™ units found at municipal wastewater utilities (WRRFs, WRFs, WWTPs), industrial plants and military bases.
